The AST v2 Air Jacket is an exceptionally light and durable jacket, offering a personalized sports riding fit. Its main mesh shell provides superior ventilation, making it fully optimized for use with or without Alpinestars' world-leading electronic airbag safety system, Tech-Air 5.

Tech-Air 5 is the world's first completely electronic, self-contained, and fully independent upper body motorcycle airbag system, requiring no bike-to-rider setup configurations.

Strategically positioned stretch panel inserts have been designed to accommodate the Alpinestars Airbag System. These panels allow for expansion when the airbag inflates, while also offering a high level of anatomical performance and a superior fit when riding without the system.

The sleeves feature a volume adjustment system that incorporates hook and loop adjustments, enabling a highly personalized fit and helping to maintain the positioning of the elbow protectors.

The elongated rear profile and hook and loop D-ring waist adjustment provide added riding comfort and customization.

The external hand pockets are zippered for a safe and secure closure, and the textile comfort edge on the collar and cuffs ensures comfort and moisture-wicking.

The jacket also boasts auto-locking zippers for durability and safety, as well as reflective details for improved visibility.

The shoulders feature GP Lite for superior abrasion resistance in a key area, and the sleeves have a pre-curved construction for increased comfort performance in the riding position.

Removable Alpinestars Nucleon Flex protectors in the elbows and shoulders are lightweight, sleek, and promote exceptional resistance against impacts.
