The AST v2 Air Jacket by Alpinestars offers a personalized sports riding fit, providing exceptional lightness and durability. The jacket's main mesh shell is fully optimized for superior ventilation, making it suitable for use with or without the Tech-Air 5, Alpinestars' world-leading electronic airbag safety system.

The jacket is Tech-Air 5 ready, featuring the world's first completely electronic, self-contained, and fully independent upper body motorcycle airbag system that requires no bike-to-rider setup configurations. Strategically positioned stretch panel inserts have been designed to accommodate the Alpinestars Airbag System, allowing for expansion when the airbag inflates, while also offering a high level of anatomical performance and a superior fit when riding without the system.

The sleeves incorporate a volume adjustment system with hook and loop adjustments, enabling a highly personalized fit and helping to maintain the positioning of the elbow protector. The elongated rear profile and hook and loop D-ring waist adjustment further enhance riding comfort and customization.

For added security, the jacket's external hand pockets are zippered, ensuring a safe and secure closure. The textile comfort edge on the collar and cuffs provides both comfort and moisture-wicking properties.
